A large lid with a deep channel going around the border which you fill with sand and bury the dinosaurs in to find. (We have designed whole dinos rather than bones so they are more versatile in other activities and more robust) The sand is black to give you an authentic volcanic sand effect
 
And in the centre is a unique puddle shaped lightbox in red tinted acrylic giving you a lava floor effect. (If you would prefer a white transparent light box piece, please tell us in the comments) We have made it so you can easily take the tinted lightbox acrylic out, so you can have access to the tray underneath, as we feel the lid is quite versatile and can be used in other set ups too !In the full set you get :
