You can paint the 3mm backdrop and can buy spare ones that will interchange for night and day !

The Stage/Floor part is 7cm deep (front to back)

The Background is approx 25cm x 24cm

A full set will get you a hollow 18mm border, 4mm Backdrop, 18mm Floor

The other option is for just 4mm Backdrop
