There is a choice of thicknesses
The 6mm is light, and thin, and can be stuck up with Sticky fixers, or if you want something to free stand then you need 18mm
 
They are 10cm tall and are always Capital first letter, and lower case for the rest of the name.
If you choose free standing, and have a name with a hanging down letter, bear in mind I will have to raise the hanging down letter so it is all flat bottomed (eg Harley) 

If the name is really long, we will have to reduce the height slightly to ensure the name is no longer than 60cm as this is the Royal Mail parcel length limit
